OUR PRIMARY MISSION...
Staffordshire & Shropshire 4×4 Response is an organisation made up of volunteers who commit their time and own 4×4 vehicles to provide assistance to the Emergency Services in times of need, as well as other charitable organisations all year round. We are on call 24/7, 365 days of the year.
Our volunteers come from a wide variety of backgrounds, bringing with them a large range of skills and experience. Not to mention they all share a common interest in 4×4 vehicles, along with the shared desire to put their skills and experience to good use in times of need and to help the local community.
The primary aim of the group is to provide a logistical transport solution to our Emergency Services, and other partners, who may need assistance in adverse weather conditions and emergencies, which includes (but is not limited to) the transportation of our nurses, doctors and other key workers ensuring their safe journey to and from their place of work.
We also aid district nurses in getting to more remote areas where home help or medical assistance is required by their patients when the usual roads are impassable by standard vehicles.
Our Services
Utilising 4x4 equipped vehicles, we aid in the transportation of NHS staff in extreme weather; assisting with flood evacuation and road closures; marshalling at public events; and helping with traction assistance for "off road" event parking situations.
